Remi Raises $21 Million Series A to Expand Roofing Marketplace

Remi, a tech startup focused on streamlining the roofing process for homeowners and contractors, announced it has raised $21 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Tyler Hogge, Partner at Pelion Venture Partners, with additional participation from Todd Pedersen, Taylor Oliver at Cervin Ventures, Y Combinator, and several angel investors. This funding brings Remi's total capital raised to $21.5 million across two rounds.

Founded in 2022, Remi has developed a marketplace that simplifies the bidding process for homeowners seeking roofing services. The platform offers instant quotes, guaranteed quality, and expedited timelines, addressing key pain points for both homeowners and roofing contractors. Remi was part of Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch, where YC invested $500,000 in the company in March 2022.

Tyler Hogge expressed enthusiasm about joining Remi's board, highlighting the company's 650% growth and profitability over the past year. He emphasized the strong lineup of investors, including Cervin Ventures and prominent Utah entrepreneurs. The Series A funding will support Remi's continued expansion and innovation within the roofing industry.
