This week in proptech, $171 million was invested in real estate technology companies. Globally, 15 companies announced funding rounds at a median of $5.1 million. Investments in real estate tech ranged across a handful of sectors, including construction, industrial, logistics, and residential.
Notable Rounds
On August 12, 2021, Agora raised a $33.3 million Series B led by Tiger Global Management with investments from Tishman Speyer, Suffolk Construction, Nine Four Ventures, DST Global, LeFrak, 8VC, Michael Ovitz, Kevin Hartz, and Jerry Yang.
On August 6, 2021, Nuki raised a $23.5 million venture round from Cipio Partners, Fortuna Group, Up to Eleven Digital Solutions, and Venta Group.
On August 11, 2021, Buildforce raised a $4 million Seed round led by TDF Ventures with investments from Mercury Fund and S3 Ventures.
