This week in proptech, $305 million was invested in real estate technology companies. Globally, 14 companies announced funding rounds at a median of $10.5 million. Investments ranged across a variety of sectors, including multifamily, hospitalities, construction, and industrial.
Notable Rounds
On September 20, 2021, Blueground raised a $180 million Series C and Debt Financing round. The equity round was led by WestCap with investments from Geolo Capital, Prime Ventures, and VentureFriends. The debt round was led by Softbank.
On September 21, 2021, Bilt Rewards raised a $60 million Seed round led by Kairos with investments from AvalonBay, Moinian Group, Equity Residential, Blackstone, Starwood, Mastercard, Wells Fargo, and Blend.
On September 22, 2021, June Homes raised a $50 million venture round led by SoftBank Ventures Asia with investments from TQ Ventures (founded by Scooter Braun, Schuster Tanger, Andrew Marks), FJ Labs, K50, Reshape, Quiet Capital and angel investors including musician Demi Lovato, Behance founder Scott Belsky and Oskar Hartmann.
