May 12, 2021, Cortex, a Washington DC-based building analytics platform, announced a $6 million Series A round, led by 4490 Ventures. On May 11, 2021, Plunk, a Bellevue, Washington-based home renovation valuation company, announced a $6.5 million Seed round lead by Unlock Venture Partners that included Second Century Ventures, Vectr, Sony Innovation Fund, and Plug and Play.
